Refund Policy

This policy applies to subscriptions and credit top-ups purchased through aicadgen.com. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other consumer-protection legislation in your country.
1. Australian Consumer Law guarantees
If you are a "consumer" under the ACL, our services come with statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a refund or compensation if our service:
- Has a major problem (it is significantly different from what you were told, unfit for its general purpose, or unsafe)
- Fails to be provided with due care and skill
- Fails to be reasonably fit for the purpose you made known to us
For minor problems we may, at our option, repair, replace, or refund.
2. Subscription refunds
2.1 Cooling-off period
If you cancel within 7 days of starting a new paid subscription and have used fewer than 25% of the credits granted in that period, we will refund the full subscription fee. Email support@aicadgen.com to request this.
2.2 Outside the cooling-off period
Subscription fees for the current billing period are non-refundable except where required by the ACL or other applicable consumer law. You can cancel future renewals from the billing portal at any time; you'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
3. Top-up credit refunds
Top-up credit packs are non-refundable once purchased, except where:
- You qualify for a refund under the ACL or other consumer law
- A technical error caused the purchase
- You purchased within the last 14 days and have not used any of the purchased credits
4. Failed generations
Generations that fail because of a sandbox or validation error are automatically refunded as credits within seconds — you don't need to contact us for these.
A small failure fee is retained from each refund to cover the AI processing the model already consumed before failing. The fee is typically 1 credit on the standard tier or 2 credits on the High tier. If the failure occurred before any AI work was billed (e.g. infrastructure error), no fee is retained. The failed design's error message will indicate when a fee has been applied.
5. Service outages
If a significant outage prevents you from using the Service for a substantial portion of your billing period, contact us — we may pro-rate or extend your subscription.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@aicadgen.com with:
- The email address on your account
- The transaction date and amount
- The reason for the refund request
We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a payment concern, please contact us first — we resolve almost all issues quickly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation.
8. Disputes
If we cannot resolve a refund issue, you may contact:
- The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your state fair trading office
- Your bank or card issuer
- Your local consumer-protection authority (if outside Australia)
