Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2 May 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy supplements our Terms of Service. It describes activities that are not permitted on AI CAD Generator. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund.
1. Prohibited content and activities
You must not use the Service to design, generate, or facilitate:
- Weapons — firearms, firearm components or accessories that improve lethality, ammunition, explosives, suppressors, or any device designed primarily to harm people. This applies regardless of legality in your jurisdiction.
- Items that endanger life — components for life-critical or safety-critical systems (medical implants, aviation primary structure, pressure vessels, automotive load-bearing parts) without verification by a qualified engineer. AI-generated geometry must never be used uninspected for safety-critical purposes.
- Devices to defeat security — lock-picking tools, key duplicators from photos, devices to bypass security systems.
- Counterfeit goods — parts that infringe registered trade marks, designs, or patents.
- Content infringing third-party rights — copying protected industrial designs, trade marks, or copyrighted works.
- Illegal goods — anything illegal in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction where the Service operates (Australia).
2. Platform misuse
You must not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or attempt to defeat the sandbox
- Use automated systems to submit prompts (other than via our paid API where authorised)
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate our system prompts
- Resell access, credits, or generated outputs as a competing service
- Attempt to break, overload, or disrupt the Service
- Submit prompts designed to elicit instructions for prohibited items by indirect framing or jailbreaking
- Use the Service to generate content that violates our underlying AI providers' usage policies (provider names available on request to support@aicadgen.com)
3. Safety-critical engineering
AI-generated CAD output must always be reviewed by a qualified engineer before manufacture or deployment in any application where failure could cause injury, death, or significant property damage. The Service is a productivity tool; it does not replace professional engineering judgement, FEA, testing, or certification.
4. Intellectual property
You must hold the rights to any reference material you describe in prompts. Do not prompt the Service to reproduce specific copyrighted designs, branded products, or licensed characters.
5. Reporting violations
If you become aware of misuse, report it to abuse@aicadgen.com. We treat reports confidentially.
6. Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion:
- Refuse, block, or remove generations
- Suspend accounts pending investigation
- Terminate accounts and forfeit unused credits in cases of serious violation
- Report illegal activity to relevant authorities
Where a violation is the result of accidental misuse, we will usually warn before suspending. Repeat or wilful violations result in permanent termination.
