From a written brief to a DXF floor plan you can edit
Early-stage floor planning is iteration: how many bedrooms, where the kitchen faces, whether the garage fits. Doing those iterations in full CAD is slow; doing them on paper throws the work away. Text-to-floor-plan sits in between — you describe the layout, and a real vector plan comes back that you can refine, dimension and export as DXF.
Describe it like a brief
“Three-bedroom single-storey house, about 140 m², open-plan kitchen and living to the north, master with ensuite and walk-in robe, double garage on the west side.” Rooms, approximate areas, adjacencies and orientation are the load-bearing facts; the generator resolves them into walls, doors, windows and labels on a dimensioned plan.
Vector output, not a picture
The plan is generated as real 2D geometry — walls, openings and text on layers — not a raster image. That is what makes it useful: you can edit elements directly on the sheet, regenerate with a changed brief, and export a layered DXF that opens in AutoCAD, LibreCAD, or any drafting package for detailed development.
Already have a plan? Import it
If you have an existing DXF — or a vector PDF export from a CAD package — you can import it directly and continue in the same editor: re-dimension, modify, or use it as the basis for a 3D massing model. (Scanned raster PDFs do not carry vector geometry; export DXF from the source CAD file instead.)

These are concept and feasibility drawings: fast, dimensioned, honest about layout. They are the right tool for exploring options, briefing an architect or drafter, and agreeing a direction. Construction documentation — structural design, egress, energy and accessibility compliance — remains the domain of licensed professionals working to your local codes, and every sheet is stamped accordingly.
